The lab runs every night; its figures appear here once a run has been published.
A routing tool cannot independently check itself, and a check is only worth trusting if you know it finds what it claims to. So before any check reaches a customer, we prove it on a real Salesforce org we keep for the purpose, every night.
How the lab works
- We plant the defects on purpose. Leads stuck at the default status, queues nobody works, owners who have left, duplicates, an assignment rule with entries that can never match, flows that fight over the owner, deals left with the wrong team, territories nobody covers, and more.
- We read it the way you would connect. Every check runs as a user holding only our read-only permission set, the one customers install. If that set is missing something a check needs, the lab fails, not your report. That is how we found, and fixed, a missing field permission before any customer met it.
- Each check must find exactly what was planted, nothing more and nothing less. Then a planted defect is fixed and the check must pass. A check that cannot run must say "not measured", never "passed".
- The trace is tested against Salesforce itself. Leads are created with the planted rule switched on, and the owner our trace predicts must be the owner Salesforce actually gave.
What it covers
Lead data
What routing did to real leads: stuck, unworked, owned by leavers, duplicated, unsourced.
Routing configuration
Assignment rules and Lead and Opportunity flows, from an export, as your admin would make it.
The trace
Why a lead went where it went, checked against what Salesforce really did.
Deals and territories
The handoff to account executives, deal owners, owner changes and territory coverage.
Omni-Channel
Leads waiting in queues that nobody online is offered.
LeanData
Held leads, routing errors and round robin pools, on an org with LeanData installed.
The lab uses its own test orgs and synthetic records only. It never touches, and never reports on, a customer's data.
Checks you can trust, on your own routing.
Routing Forensics connects as a read-only user and checks your routing against your real leads every night. Register interest and you will be first to get a free health report.
Or check it now: the free scan finds routing configuration defects in your Salesforce or HubSpot workflow export, in your browser, and nothing is uploaded.
